Palmera Apartments

I helped my daughter rent an apartment at Palmera which she has been at for almost 2 years now, and have had nothing but a great experience. The staff is wonderful: Harold, Mariana, Mariela, Jose etc. They have helped us out with anything and everything we have needed. The facilities are all well kept and in good shape. The residents are very friendly and the staff is professional. If you are looking for a new apartment in a great location look no further!

Do not rent here! They had my car towed from the building. It was charging. Police was involved. It was an unlawful tow. Towing company said the leasing office requested it. I waited physically 2 hours at the leasing office to talk to the manager and he would not see me. He never spoke to me, even when he was not in meetings. I never got an answer on why my vehicle was towed. Sign at the front says welcome home, this place is the last place that will feel like home. Also, if you work 9-5 and have a pet forget getting any maintenance service because they only work 9-5 and will not go into your building with a pet. My closet light has never been on since I moved and can’t get it fixed.

Home. When we hear that word, we think of a place we own that is "ours". But a home is so much beyond ownership, a home is where you feel at peace, where you feel loved, and where you can grow into the best version of yourself. I found Palmera during one of the darkest moments in my life. It was during 2020, at the height of the global pandemic and unfortunately, the ending of my marriage, and a change within my career. I needed a place of refuge. I needed a place to heal and grow from the chaos around me and within me. This was that place. From the Zen Garden, to the pool, gym, along with the amazing features and appliances within my apartment, my God! There was no other place that I would rather be. I lived here for 2 wonderful and glorious years and enjoyed every single moment. At the end of year 2, I decided that it would be best and the most logical thing to do was to purchase my own place, my home. During the 15 months that I lived away from Palmera, there wasn't a day, that I didn't think about this place and the level of peace and happiness it brought me. The professionalism and kindness from Harold, Alex, Mariela, Marianna, and a host of others, makes this place the # 1 choice to live in Doral. So today, as I look around my apartment and the boxes that I have everywhere, 15 months later, I may not have purchased my home. However, I've returned to the only place that I feel is my home-Palmera. You deserve a life of peace, luxury, and tranquility. You deserve Palmera. Let this be your home.

Lived at Palmera for roughly 2 yrs. PRO's: - Mariana is hands down the BEST leasing agent on property. If you do decide to call Palmera your home, she is so sweet and professional to work with. I have nothing but great things to say about her. Honestly, she is the MAIN reason we stayed on property for so long. - Community is great! Cops are always around and quick to respond if there's any issues. - Management sends at least 3 emails a week detailing and reminding residents of the community rules. To me this was a bit excessive, but it is what it is. Cons: - Excessive amounts of emails from property management about rent. - Outside of Mariana, the office personnal didn't seem super welcoming. - Rent is fairly expensive for what you get out of the apt. Ex. the carpet in the units could be replaced. We lived in 2 different units and both seemed a bit dingy for the amount of rent being paid on the units.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! WORST MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE EVER!!! The management won’t answer your calls and discard your concerns!!! ALSO DONT EXPECT YOUR DEPOSIT BACK!!!!. Your deposit will be gone!! Also, no way you can sublease your apartment if you needed and you need to pay 2 months rent if you decided to leave. I lived here for a few months and had to break the lease due to moving to another state. They required me to pay two months lease in advance and they take almost all of the deposit. I left the apartment like as received it. They deduct almost $270 for nothing and claims that they received the keys of the apartment at 11:30am instead of 10am. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!! The management didn’t answer my calls when trying to ask about my deposit and ignored me. The management even doesn’t answer emails. Also, it’s the environment is so noisy and expect your bedroom to face the pet track and you will wake up everyday around 6am because of the dog barking. I want my deposit back!!!! Don’t get trapped and rent here.

I had the pleasure of touring the beautiful Palmera at Doral & it didn’t disappoint. First of all the staff are very friendly & cordial. Yahoska was very helpful & accommodating to my schedule to give me a tour of the property. The place it beautiful with plenty of amenities to entertain friends when they visit or just relax. The apartments are very spacious with lots of floor plans to meet anyone’s budget & they are centrally located. I would recommend this property to anyone who likes luxury.

I had a mixed experience with Palmera Apartments. Initially, things seemed promising, and I was excited to work with them as a real estate agent to help clients find apartments in their complex. However, after six months of diligent work, I faced a significant issue. Palmera Apartments failed to pay me the agreed-upon rent commission. The lack of payment for my hard work and dedication was incredibly disappointing and unprofessional. Despite numerous attempts to contact them and resolve the issue, my concerns fell on deaf ears. This has left me frustrated and with a sense of unfulfilled commitment from the company. While the apartments themselves may be decent, I would caution anyone considering doing business with Palmera Apartments to be wary, especially if you are relying on them for commissions or financial agreements. Their lack of transparency and failure to fulfill their end of the deal has left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I hope that Palmera Apartments can improve their communication and commitment to financial agreements with their partners in the future. As of now, I cannot recommend them without reservations due to my unresolved commission issue.
